A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Mansour Haeryfar in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Western University, London, Ontario, Canada. The research to be conducted is supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and will explore the role of innate-like T lymphocytes at the host-pathogen interface and in regulation of antitumor immune responses. The ideal candidate has a PhD, MD, DVM (or equivalent), and is well-versed in various immunological techniques, including but not limited to multi-color flow cytometry. Additional background in molecular biology and experience in mouse models of malignant and infectious disease are preferred. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work both independently and as an effective member of a dynamic team.
