A faculty member since 1985, Dr. Roman Kozak studied medicine at the Royal London Medical School in England (1973-1978), followed by a rotating internship at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Kozak completed his Radiology Residency Training at Western University in 1984. Following his residency training, Dr. Kozak completed fellowships in Neuroradiology at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital and Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Montreal General Hospital.

During his career, Dr. Kozak has provided, and continues to provide, his services to a number of health care facilities throughout urban and rural Ontario. These include St. Joseph’s Health Care in London, South Bruce Grey Medical Centre in Walkerton, Timmins and District Hospital in Timmins, and Alexandra Marine & General Hospital in Goderich.

Dr. Kozak’s commitment to Radiology education at Western is well known, having supervised dozens of residents in his nearly two decades as faculty, including many that went on to become Western faculty themselves.
