Dr. Gary Brahm

After completing medical school at the University of Toronto in 2007, Dr. Gary Brahm began his Residency Training right here at Western. Dr. Brahm served as a Chief Resident during his PGY5 year, the same year he won the prestigious Tom Munro Award for Outstanding Presentation of Original Research at London Imaging Discovery.

Prior to medical school, Dr. Brahm studied Medical Biophysics at Western, where he garnered numerous honours, including the Ontario Volunteer Service Award, the Hargreaves Summer Student Research Award and was the recipient of the Dr. G. E. Hall Scholarships and the the Richard Konrad Scholarship in Science.

Dr. Brahm was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Imaging in 2013, and currently serves as the Undergraduate Site Supervisor for Victoria Hospital. He was then promoted to Associate Professor in 2020.
