The UME curriculum is a four-year program. It is designed to provide each student with an opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to advance to graduate or post-graduate studies leading to clinical practice, research or other medical careers. The educational format is a blend of lectures, laboratory experiences, small group, case-based learning and supervised clinical experience in community and hospital settings.
