Schulich Welcomes New Residents!
As a new academic year begins July 1, Schulich is delighted to welcome 194 new first-year residents. Among this group are graduates from 14 of Canada's medical schools and 30 international medical schools. In addition to this group of new residents, many senior residents are entering new phases of their training as they move into subspecialty residencies; among this subspecialty group are 55 residents who are new to Schulich. We will officially welcome all our new residents at Resident Orientation on June 29, 2012.
On behalf of the Office of Postgraduate Medical Education at Schulich, I encourage everyone to reach out to these new residents at this exciting time in their career development. We are exceptionally pleased that they have chosen to undertake their postgraduate training at Schulich, and are confident that their experience here will be rich, productive, and of high quality.
