    The 2018 International Summer Program is an interactive two-week immersion program that looks at global health from a multidisciplinary and multiprofessional perspective. Students will participate in a range of activities, including lectures focused on global health, team-based learning modules, visits with community organizations and cross-cultural workshops.

The role of Geographic Leader is to serve as a resource and support to the Dean, the Senior Leadership Council and the Internationalization Office in developing a strategic direction for educational, clinical and research activities for the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry related to the specific country or region.

As professor and chair of the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Dr. Stranges has gained diverse experience and insight from living in several places, which has ultimately inspired his passion and commitment to global health and internationalization.

  • Call for Proposals – International Curriculum Fund

    The International Curriculum Fund, administered by Western International, has annual funding of $100,000. Awards of up to $15,000 each will be available annually. The goal of the awards is to promote innovative curriculum initiatives that help support international and intercultural learning opportunities for Western students.
