On July 11, 2017 anyone with a Western appointment or account, who has access to SSO, will be able to use their Western credentials to log in.
Note: This change will not impact SSO users who do not have a Western appointment or account.
Starting July 11th we ask that you use your Western credentials to log in to SSO. If you use your old single sign-on credentials a note will be on the home screen reminding you to use your Western credentials the next time. While this change is in its infancy, there will be a grace period where both current SSO credentials OR Western credentials will work.
The grace period will end on January 9, 2018 after which time only your Western credentials will work. If you try to log in with your old SSO credentials you will be prompted to use your Western credentials. After January 9, 2018 if you forget your password you will need to change it using the Western Identity Manager.
For our customers who use automatic emails and/or instructional documentation for their end users containing information regarding the log in procedures for SSO we will contact and work with you to ensure your documentation is updated correctly to reflect this change.
