There is a naming convention for pages, documents and images on the web

When creating a new page or folder in Cascade spaces in the name will be automatically replaced with underscores. If you rename a page or folder you created, leave all words in the title lowercase and put an underscore between words.

The same naming convention should be used for documents and images you upload to Cascade.  You can use underscores, dashes, or make the title all one word, but do not leave spaces in between words.

Example of an bad document name:

Document Name: Naming Convention Guidelines.pdf
URL: https://www.schulich.uwo.ca/Naming20%Convention20%Guidelines.pdf

Example of an good document name:

Document Name: naming_convention_guidelines.pdf
URL:  https://www.schulich.uwo.ca/naming_convention_guidelines.pdf

Following this simple naming convention will result in much cleaner URLs.
