The Dean’s Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (DUROP) provides outstanding science undergraduate students with the opportunity to acquire state of art research skills and discover the value of pursuing a biomedical research career following completion of their undergraduate degree. Twenty DUROP training positions are available for the summer 2017 (May to August) in the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, London Ontario, Canada. Each position will provide a hands-on summer research experience with a Schulich Medicine & Dentistry research mentor. The program will provide students with an opportunity to gain research skills in areas of research conducted by Schulich Faculty members.
Awards: DUROP summer research awards are $6,000 ($3,000 from Schulich Medicine & Dentistry funding + $3,000 funding from research supervisor) stipend for summer research.Deadlines: More information will be forthcoming in January 2018. Currently this program may not be funded.
