The 2015 Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships Competition is now open

A two-stage internal review process is in place at Western for the Banting Fellowship applications.  This serves to help identify the strongest applications and to select the most competitive candidates in each research area (CIHR, NSERC & SSHRC) who will receive the necessary institutional endorsement.

Schulich's internal deadline to identify potential Banting candidates is June 30, 2015.  Please send CVs of potential candidates to Melanie Katsivo at melanie.katsivo@schulich.uwo.ca no later than June 30. Schulich Medicine & Dentistry will evaluate suitability of candidates based on their CVs, and will work with candidates to prepare the strongest possible applications.

See the website for eligibility criteria.  Applicants to the 2015-16 Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program must fulfill or have fulfilled all degree requirements for a PhD, PhD-equivalent or health professional degree between September 23, 2012 and August 15, 2016 (inclusively), and before the start date of their award.  The Banting Fellowships are extremely competitive and successful candidates have stellar and demonstrable record of achievement.
