Accepting participants for the 'Introduction to Global Health' Summer Program at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry

The Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics is hosting Schulich Medicine & Dentistry’s second Summer Program for international students from July 3 to 14. The program’s theme this year is ‘Introduction to global health’ and will include a broad range of academic speakers, a public health case presentation, cross-cultural workshops and social outings.

In the spirit of enriching the immersion experience of our international participants both academically and socially, the program’s leaders reached out to Graduate Chairs at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry for nominations of local trainees whose thesis topic has a global health or international perspective. These students will participate in the program at no cost to them, their supervisor or home Department.

If you would like to more information on how you or your student can enroll in this program, please contact Angela DeCandido (adecandi@uwo.ca).

Visit the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics' Twitter and Facebook pages for updates from the program.

The 2017 Summer Program is a joint initiative between the Internationalization Office and the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry.
