The Global & Ecosystem Health Interest Group (GEHIG) promotes a broad understanding of health that includes the vitality & sustainability of the socio-economic, political and biological ecosystems which human communities are a part of.

Hungry for Change
Hungry for Change is a club run by medical students at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, at UWO. The main fundraising event is a gala, which involves a global health speaker, a night of discussion and entertainment, and a silent auction. The proceeds of this event go to a charity (Huruma Children's Home in Kenya) and the Global Health Funding Committee at Schulich (which provides scholarships to students pursuing global health electives).
