Ambulatory Rotations

Ambulatory Rotations

UH/SJHC Ambulatory (GIM North End)

The north end GIM rotation incorporates an abulatory clinic experience with an inpatient consultative service. There is an exposure to a wide variety of undifferentiated clinical questions and multi-system disorders.

In the inpatient setting, the residents will participate in medical consultations on surgical services. The rotation provides exposure to a diverse and challenging spectrum of medical problems in the perioperative period. In the ambulatory serring, the residents will attend General Medicine Clinics, Urgent Medical Clinics (referrals from the ER to the outpatient setting), and Preoperative Assessment Clinics.

The site coordinator for the service is Dr. Marko Mrkobrada, and the administrative contact is Kaylee Moore - kaylee.moore@lhsc.on.ca.

VH Ambulatory (GIM South End)

At Victoria Hospital, the GIM Consultation Service includes pre-admission clinics, urgent medical clinics and, of course, medical consultation.

The site coordinator for the service is Dr. Dongmei Sun. Specific questions should be directed to Dr. Sun via her secretary: Caitlin McClinchey, or through the GIM program admin Chrissy Kienapple chrissy.kienapple@lhsc.on.ca.
