Welcome to your surgical rotation.
Surgical rotations are held at University Hospital and Victoria Hospital. Each site will host an orientation with the on-site clerkship coordinator (you will receive specific information from each site closer to your start date).

Recommended Textbook
This is to inform you that there is now a recommended textbook for the Surgery Clerkship students and it is titled "Greenfield's Surgery: Scientific Principles and Practice." This textbook can be accessed via the LHSC Library Services website under "e-books" or is available within LHSC & SJHC via the below link:

It was decided by the Curriculum Committee at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry that each clerkship rotation should have one required or recommended textbook. "Greenfield's Surgery" is not a required textbook, however if appropriate please use this textbook as a reference during your clerkship seminars.
