Maitland Valley Family Medical Centre, Goderich

SITE DIRECTOR BIO

Dr. Tamra Steinmann is a Family Physician in Goderich who graduated from Western University in 2014. Like most of the rural physicians in Goderich, her practice is comprehensive. She cares for patients in a multitude of settings: family practice, inpatients, emergency department, hospice and home visits. She is enthusiastic about her career path and finds being a rural family doctor to be an absolute privilege.

Dr. Steinmann's favorite part about teaching is helping the residents find passion in their profession. She enjoys seeing the residents' skills, knowledge and confidence grow over the two year program. She also really enjoys helping the residents discover the joys of living in a rural community.

When not working, she is busy chasing after two young children. She enjoys staying active, hiking, boot camp and participates in a lot of the local community events and clubs.
