Mandatory Requirements for Completion of Residency

By End of PGY1

• Complete clinical rotations
• Attend Wed. FM Academic Half Days 
• Procedures Curriculum (1-2 Sessions/FM Block) 
• Log required Obstetrics experiences and procedures
• Attend 3 Behaviour Medicine Teaching Sessions (in Centre)
• Attend 1 Ethics Teaching Session
• Attend 2 Palliative Care Teaching Sessions 
• QI Curriculum (6 IHI Online Modules -due in Sept.) 
• Complete Neonatal Resuscitation Training
• Log 150 Academic Credits
• Complete a minimum of 3 field notes per week during Family Medicine Rotations
• Complete a rotation evaluation for each rotation
• Ensure evaluations of Resident are completed
• Submit Resident Project Proposal
• Meet with Faculty Advisor 2 times (3-6 month timeframe, 12 month time frame)
• In-Centre Teaching (FM Block)
• Sponsored Courses (not mandatory)

By End of PGY2
