Department Spotlight: Cheryl Leystra-Lantz
The postgraduate team would like to extend a warm welcome to Cheryl Leystra-Lantz who joined the Department in the role of Postgraduate Program Coordinator Student Relations on July 19.
Cheryl is a Western University graduate with a honours degree in Biochemistry. She has held several positions as a Research Technician in Biochemistry, Obs/Gyn, and most recently at Robarts working in the Molecular Brain Research Group. In this capacity she supported Dr. Michael Strong studying the contributions of mutations in the ALS-associated proteins in the pathogenesis of ALS and providing administrative support for the lab.
