Annual Clinical Day in Family Medicine

Presented by the Citywide Department of Family Medicine, London Health Sciences Centre, St. Joseph's Health Care London and Continuing Professional Development - Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Annual Clinical Day in Family Medicine is taking place May 13th, 2015 at Four Points by Sheraton, in London, Ontario.

The Keynote address "Building Resilience in Our Patients & Ourselves" will be given by Dr. Mamta Gautam, MD, MBA, FRCPC, CCPE, Department of Psychiatry, The Ottawa Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa, President, CEO, Peak MD Inc.

A PowerBreakfast will precede Annual Clinical Day at 7:15 a.m.

Dr. George Dresser will present on Oral Anticoagulation in Afib and VTE. (Sponsored by Pfizer Canada Inc. and Bristol Myers Squibb Canada).

The learning objectives for the day include:

  1. To provide an update on a variety of common problems and emerging issues in Family Practice.
  2. To provide a forum where participants can bring questions for discussion reflecting the challenges they face in their individual practices.
  3. To provide an opportunity for group discussion of primary care topics in the workshop series.
