Family Medicine Grand Rounds: Suboxone Treatment for Opiate Abuse

Please join us for Family Medicine Grand Rounds to be held at the Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine Building, Room 1150, on Wednesday, September 6 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Drs. Sharon Koivu and Ken Lee will present Suboxone Treatment for Opiate Abuse.


Learning Objectives:

  1.  Review the diversion and abuse of prescribed opiates
  2.  Describe opiate replacement therapy comparing Methadone versus Suboxone
  3.  Outline hospital in-patient use of Suboxone

 

25% interaction will be included (45 minute presentation with 15 minutes Q&A).
