Palliative and End-of-Life Care (LEAP) is an educational program designed to update your ability to care for people with advanced illness and high symptom burden. It is based on the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association Model and is designed to engage you in a variety of learning opportunities. LEAP facilitates inter professional collaboration and supports individual and team practice change. LEAP is facilitated by local and regional palliative care experts.
The Palliative Pain & Symptom Management Program (PPSMP) London/Middlesex in collaboration with the Department of Family Medicine, Western University and Citywide Department of Family Medicine is offering a LEAP Mini Workshop. Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, and Allied Health Professionals are encouraged to participate. This is a notable opportunity for local family physicians.
