Grand Rounds: Tuberculosis: Not a disease of the past - TB in Canada and Middlesex London
Join us Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. for Family Medicine Grand Rounds in the Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine Building, Room 1150.
Dr. Ian Arra and Ms. Bernadette Garrity, RN, will present, "Tuberculosis: Not a disease of the past - TB in Canada and Middlesex London."
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of the session you will:
- Have an overview of the epidemiology of TB in Canada and Middlesex London
- Understand the diagnosis of latent and active TB
- Understand the role of Public Health in tuberculosis and active TB case management
- Appreciate through case studies, the complex nature of active TB cases (e.g. MDR, Health care worker with TB
