Guest Lecturer, Dr. Melad Marbeen, PGY3, will present on the topic of Adverse Childhood Experience & Later-Life Health and Well Being.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of today’s Grand Rounds you will be able to:

1. Have an overview of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) study findings
2. Understand how cumulative adversity in early childhood is associated with negative behavioral and physical health outcomes in adulthood.
3. Screen for ACEs in family practice and intervene to minimize their illness outcomes and promote wellness.
