Associate Dean, Learner Equity & Wellness
The role of Associate Dean, Learner Equity & Wellness is to:
- Promote greater awareness and understanding of gender and equity issues within educational activities, research and the work environment of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry
- Address gender or equity issues and respond to problems experienced in the teaching, learning or working environment by any student or trainee.
The current Associate Dean of Learner Equity & Wellness is Dr. Terri Paul.

Dr. Paul is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, at the University of Western Ontario. Her practice is based at St. Joseph’s Health Care, London. Dr. Paul completed her masters in endocrinology from The University of Western Ontario and her medical degree at the University of Ottawa. She completed her internal medicine training and her endocrinology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Paul’s special interests lie in the treatment of osteoporosis, diabetes and thyroid disease. She is medical director of St. Joseph’s London Regional Osteoporosis and Bone Disease Program and chair of Thyroid Cancer London. She is also a consultant to the scientific advisory council of Osteoporosis Canada.
