CADR STUDENT RESEARCH AWARD

CADR provides a limited number of Student Research Awards available for trainees to present their research at the annual AADR/CADR meeting. Eligibility: Students and postdoctoral fellows working in dental research, including research in oral health, oral biology and craniofacial sciences. Applications are solicited by CADR in early summer.


QUINTESSENCE AWARD

The Quintessence Research Award is awarded on the recommendation of the Schulich Dentistry Research Committee following nomination by faculty supervisors to a graduating DDS student who has been exemplary in research in the undergraduate dental program.  Recipient List

RESEARCH DAY AWARDS

CDA/Dentsply Travel Award
Student Poster Presentation Award at Dentistry’s Annual Research Day. Canadian Dental Association (CDA)  provides this travel award to attend and present a research poster at the CDA Annual Convention (held in Canada).  n by faculty supervisors to a graduating DDS student who has been exemplary in research in the undergraduate dental program.  Recipient List

ADA Conference Travel Award
Student Poster Presentation Award at Dentistry’s Annual Research Day. The ADA Foundation provides this travel award to attend the ADA Dental Students’ Conference on Research. The purpose of this conference is to introduce outstanding dental students to scientists from the ADAF Paffenbarger Research Center, the ADA oral health industry leaders and the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research,  with the goal of raising their awareness of the wide-ranging careers available in oral health research. Hinman Student Research Travel Award

Student Poster Presentation Award at Dentistry’s Annual Research Day.  The Hinman Student Research Symposium (in Memphis, TN) is a national meeting featuring presentations of research studies undertaken by dental students and graduate trainees from dental schools across North America. The goal of the symposium is to help raise and maintain the quality of dental research and education by encouraging participation of dental students, graduate trainees and dental school faculty in research to improve oral health care.
