CTCR Colleagues Collaborate

The second annual CTCR Colleagues Collaborate networking night brings together hundreds of cancer researchers and clinicians across the city in hopes of increasing translational teams and encouraging collaborations!

Last year, our inaugural networking event brought together over 200 participants at the beautiful Bellamere Winery. The Scientific Director of the Ontario Institute of Cancer Research (OICR), Dr. Lincoln Stein, gave a keynote presentation. The evening consisted of collaboration sessions, voting activities, social media contests, and delicious flaming donuts! Check it all out here: http://conta.cc/2lhsqWh. It was a fantastic and successful event!

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Mick Bhatia (Director and Senior Scientist, Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Human Stem Cell Biology & Michael G. DeGroote Chair in Stem Cell and Cancer Biology) will be presenting the keynote lecture (20-30 minutes) discussing cancer research and the importance of collaboration.

The event will begin at 5:00pm, on Friday, February 2nd, 2018, at the Goodwill Industries Community Hall, with cocktails and hot appetizer stations. Guests will be encouraged to informally network with colleagues and eventually find a seat to listen to short presentations and the keynote talk. Following the keynote presentation, a fun group ice-breaker activity will begin. Details to follow.

Please consider joining us for this unique cancer research event!
