The Office of Global Health at Western University in collaboration with the Centre for Family Medicine, University of Waterloo, have organized a half-day conference being held in the IPG Classroom at the Centre for Family Medicine, 25 Joseph St. Kitchener, ON, N2G 4X6. The event aims to create a forum to discuss climate change, energy sources and their impact on health at local, national and global levels.
The conference will do so by bringing together physicians, professionals from health and environmental organizations, students, and community members to share their ideas on recent debates, events and developments on the topic. The objective of the conference is to enhance awareness and knowledge about systems to support optimal planning of future energy production and consumption as well as the linkages and inter-relationships between human health, the natural environment and climate change.
LOCATION:
Centre for Family Medicine, IPG Classroom, 25 Joseph St. Kitchener, ON N2G 4X6. Parking is available at 25 Joseph Street and additional parking is available near the clinic.
