Cafe Scientifique

Café Scientifique

Café Scientifique, sponsored by the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, is an opportunity for members of the community to explore, discuss, and debate the latest topics in medical science and research with an expert. Participants can offer their opinions, ask questions, or just listen. No scientific knowledge is assumed by the speakers so that everyone can participate in an informal and accessible atmosphere.

An invited scientist makes a 30-minute informal presentation and after a brief break there is a question, answer, and discussion period. Everyone has an opportunity to raise a question.

Registration

The series is free and no pre-registration is required. Just turn up on the night. Seating is limited to 50 and on a first-come, first-served basis.
