Schulich Medicine - London Program, Class of 2013 supports Rotholme Women & Family Shelter with a special gift.

They arrive in time of crisis, or great need, requiring shelter and comfort, searching to keep their hope alive that things will improve. Mission Services' Rotholme Women & Family Shelter in London offers an open door to care and comfort, as well as support for counselling. For the past four years, the Schulich Medicine Class of 2013 in London, has been raising funds that help to keep hope alive for Rotholme's residents.

As each class begins at Schulich Medicine, they choose a charity to support throughout their four years. They dedicate their fundraising efforts to meet the special needs identified by the organization. The Meds Class of 2013 in London, chose Mission Services' Rotholme Women & Family Shelter. They have collected donations, and undertaken Christmas Toy Drives to support the women, men and children who make a temporary home at Rotholme. Taking their commitment one step further, members of the Class spent time with the residents, hosting special craft nights and even mani/pedi nights.

Determined to make a "real" difference, the class made a donation of $4,000 to Rotholme. The donation will be used to support needs that enhance the comfort of residents.
