Personal Biography

Lisa completed her PhD at Western's Faculty of Education after teaching high school for 10 years in the United States.  She is interested in research that explores the connection between pedagogical practices and the identity formation of professionals and citizens. Lisa is working with Dr. Mark Goldszmidt to develop new projects exploring professional communication in the CTU setting, as well as contributing to the data analysis and publication of previous studies in this program of research.  Lisa has worked with a broad range of qualitative research approaches, including case studies, ethnography, constructivist grounded theory, and comparative international research.
