Tuition

$3,495.00 Canadian (includes 13% HST)

Tuition includes:
- four full days of expert writing instruction, a one-on-one consultation with faculty, and dedicated time to write/revise a work-in-progress
- course materials, a writing styles publication, and links to additional writing resources
- four nights' accommodation at an all-suite, boutique hotel in Old Montreal
- breakfasts, lunches, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks

Who Should Attend

Health sciences researchers, social sciences researchers, education professionals, health education professionals.

Participants should have personal experience trying to get their work published, i.e. should have written at least one manuscript in recent past and submitted it to a journal, although it does not have to have been accepted. Participants will maximize their learning if they bring an in-progress manuscript to work on during the Master Class.

How To Attend

To submit an application to attend the 2016 Writing Master Class, email cpd@schulich.uwo.ca with the following information and attachments:
•    name
•    affiliation: department, organization or school
•    research focus
•    attachments:
      i)  writing sample of an in-progress or recently completed research manuscript (approx 3,000 words)
      ii) summary CV (max 2 pages) highlighting your recent publication history, including abstracts

Note: once you submit your application, a confirmation email will be sent to you within 2 business days. If you do not receive an email, please re-submit your application. 

Applications will be reviewed by the Master Class Selection Committee. Following review and acceptance, a link will be provided for online registration and tuition payment. To ensure the best learning experience, enrollment is limited to 25 participants.
