Volunteer Opportunity with the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO)

Team POGO: Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon University Team Leader
Volunteer Position June-October 2016

Founded in 1983, the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) is committed to ensuring all children with cancer, and their families, have equitable access to the best possible care for the best possible outcomes. POGO is responsible for planning childhood cancer care in the province of Ontario and advising the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care on cancer care and control for the pediatric oncology population.


POGO is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated student-leader from your university to recruit and lead a fundraising team in support of POGO. The incumbent will assume the role of Team POGO: Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon University Team Leader, and report directly to the Development Team at POGO. As a team leader, the incumbent will be responsible for recruiting peers to participate in the race, as well as leading fundraising activities in support of POGO.
