Volunteer Opportunity - MMI Interview Prep Sessions

The Student Success Centre is once again hosting Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) practice sessions to assist students in their preparation for health-realted professional interviews. These preparation sessions are designed to replicate a real MMI scenario and are for individuals who would like to practice responding to ethical, behavioural and situational questions, role play and 'picture station' scenarios in a timed session.

Currently, organizers are seeking volunteers to assist with registration, room set up, reorganising questions between rounds, and collecting evaluations at the end of the session. Volunteers are also recruited to take on “acting roles” in our role play stations during the sessions. For this role, a specific set of instructions is provided. Students who volunteer in one or more sessions are still eligible to benefit as participants in MMI prep sessions held on a different date.

The dates for our 2017 MMI prep sessions (and corresponding volunteer shifts) schedule is as follows:

  • Thursday, January 12  - 4:45pm - 9:15pm
  • Friday, February 3  - 4:45pm - 9:15pm
  • Monday, February 13  - 4:45pm - 9:15pm
  • Saturday, March 4 (2 shifts) morning session 8:15am - 12:45pm / afternoon session 1:15pm - 5:45pm
