Industry Problem Solving Week (IPSW) is a fun and engaging opportunity to begin the transition from academia into the workforce. It is a campus-wide opportunity for students of all graduate levels to interact with local industry representatives, and solve real-world problems. An industry workshop which takes place during Reading Week, IPSW is designed to help students of all disciplines become job ready.

Registration for the student-run IPSW event, also hosted by the Faculty of Science is now open.  At this event, which runs from February 21-24, 2017, students are given a current real-life from an organization and work in groups to create an innovative solution. This is a an trans-disciplinary event, so teams comprised of students from different backgrounds and multiple perspectives are encouraged to register.
