Congratulations to Medical Biophysics PhD student Dante Capaldi (supervised by Dr. Grace Parraga) for being awarded a Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Trainee Research Prize for his research project entitled, "Measuring Specific Ventilation using Four-dimensional Magnetic Resonance Ventilation Imaging: A Novel Physiological Biomarker of Asthma"!
The RSNA annual meeting is the flagship international conference of the radiology community. Basic science trainees, medical students, residents, and fellows all compete for these awards. RSNA's recognition of Dante's work is a well-deserved acknowledgement of the importance of his work by the community of medical professionals who will ultimately use the tools he has developed for the improvement of care for those suffering from asthma.
The MBP graduate program is proud Dante's achievement and the translational work that he is doing!
