Dr. Marc St-Amand completed his undergraduate, medical school, and Anesthesia residency training at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario. He then completed a fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesia and Liver Transplantation at Western University.
In 1996, Dr. St-Amand joined the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at the University Hospital in London, Ontario where he continues to work.
Dr. St-Amand has been involved in research, education and administrative areas within the department. He is also currently a Royal College examiner.
