Dr. Michelle Gros completed medical school at the University of Toronto and residency training at Western University. Following this, she started working at the London Health Sciences Centre in 2007.
Her areas of interest include obstetrical anesthesia, quality assurance, and undergraduate and postgraduate education.
Dr. Gros was involved with creating the new anesthesia records that are used citywide, and developing a sleep apnea policy as part of the Quality Assurance Committee.
Since 2010, Dr. Gros has been the Site Coordinator for Undergraduate Education at Victoria Hospital, and has recently been appointed as the City-Wide Director of Undergraduate Education for the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine.
Dr. Gros is on the curriculum committee for the Anesthesia Residency Training. She is responsible for overseeing 4 sections of the residents’ half-day teaching program. Dr. Gros has also been one of the few core people in the department responsible for the final year residents’ exam preparation.
