News: Dr. Mithu Sen completes Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine fellowship

Congratulations to Dr. Mithu Sen, who graduated from the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) Program at Drexel University College of Medicine, as part of the Program’s 25th anniversary class of fellows.

ELAM is year-long fellowship dedicated to preparing women for senior leadership roles in schools of medicine, dentistry, public health and pharmacy.

Dr. Sen was nominated and supported by Dr. Davy Cheng, former Acting Dean. Schulich Medicine & Dentistry is the only Canadian medical or dental school represented in the 2019-2020 anniversary class. “It was a great honour to represent our School with pride,” said Dr. Sen.

The Program’s curriculum includes an Institutional Action Project, which is developed in collaboration with the fellow’s home institution. Dr. Sen’s project focused on wellness at the School.
