Award: Dr. Manuel Montero-Odasso named one of the 10 Most Influential Hispanic Canadians of 2019

Congratulations to Dr. Manuel Montero-Odasso, who was named one of the 10 Most Influential Hispanic Canadians of 2019 by TD Bank.

The award acknowledges the outstanding achievements of Hispanic Canadians across the country.

Dr. Montero-Odasso is recognized as a world expert in dementia and gait in older adults. His research focuses on the interaction between mobility and cognitive decline in aging, and he has pioneered new diagnostic approaches and treatments to combat early dementia.

Dr. Montero-Odasso is a Professor in the Department of Medicine, a Clinician Scientist at Lawson Health Research Institute and Director of the Gait and Brain Lab.

The 10 Most Influential Hispanic Canadians award program, now in its thirteenth year, is coordinated by the Canadian Hispanic Business Alliance along with the Canadian Hispanic Congress.
