Awards: Exceptional educators honoured

Congratulations to Dr. Jamie Wickett and Fabiana Crowley, PhD, who were named as this year’s recipients of the Canadian Association for Medical Education (CAME) Certificate of Merit Award for Western University.

CAME is an organization of medical educators working toward the promotion, advancement and recognition of excellence in medical education.

The CAME Certificate of Merit Award aims to promote excellence and scholarship in all aspects of medical education by supporting faculty and educational development, and by encouraging research in medical education through networking and scientific activities.

Dr. Wickett is a faculty member and program director in the Department of Family Medicine at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. “I thoroughly enjoy the work that I do as a Family Medicine teacher and Program Director and I am honoured to be recognized with a CAME Certificate of Merit,” she said.  

Crowley is an assistant professor in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the School. “I feel so honoured and humbled to be receiving the CAME Certificate of Merit Award,” she said. “It is a privilege to work with a highly committed team from the Schulich UME program and to be recognized for a work that I love doing.”
