Announcement: Dr. Michael Motolko extended as Acting Chair/Chief, Department of Ophthalmology
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Michael Motolko has been extended as Acting Chair/Chief, Department of Ophthalmology in the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University and its teaching hospitals, London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph's Health Care London, effective October 1, 2016 to April 30, 2017 or earlier should a new Chair/Chief be appointed in advance of this date.
Dr. Motolko is currently a Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, and is also an Ophthalmologist at St. Joseph’s Health Care London.
Dr. Motolko’s clinical focus is on Adult Glaucoma, cataracts and related diseases. He has been awarded the Ivey Eye Institute Award for Excellence in Lecture/Clinical Teaching, Level: Postgraduate multiple times including in 2010, 2012 and 2013.
