Record number of student abstracts accepted for national history of medicine conferenceA record 10 abstracts from Schulich Medicine students have been accepted for the annual History of Medicine Days Conference being held at the University of Calgary in March.
The Conference attracts medical students from across the country to present their work on the history of medicine. “This is a wonderful venue for our Schulich Medicine students to present their history of medicine research, to network with other Canadian medical students, and to increase the profile of our School’s medical education program,” said Shelley McKellar, PhD, Hannah Chair in the History of Medicine at Western University.
The History of Medicine Days Conference is taking place on Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7.
