Leaders in Innovation Dinner 2014 to celebrate neurological disorders with special guest Victor Garber

Robarts Research Institute presents Leaders in Innovation Dinner 2014. The evening will celebrate research innovations in neurological disorders and the achievements of the 2014 J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine recipients, Virginia M.-Y. Lee, PhD, and John Q. Trojanowski, MD, PhD.

Featuring special guest Victor Garber - one of the most respected and talented actors of his generation. Having watched both his parents struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, he is on a mission to raise awareness about the disease, its devastating impact, and the need for a cure.

Mr. Garber will present a keynote address and take part in an engaging armchair discussion about research, his personal advocacy for Alzheimer’s disease, and his life as an actor.

Master of Ceremonies for the evening and host of the armchair conversation will be one of Canada's great public speakers - Peter Mansbridge, LLD'08, Chief Correspondent of CBC News, and Anchor of The National.

Date: Thursday, November 20
Time: 5:30 - 9:30 p.m.
Location: Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre, 591 Wellington Rd., London
